Our on-site interpreters must:
- Be reliable, accurate and punctual
- Be customer service oriented
- Have prior experience in legal, business, social or medical
- Have transportation to go to our customer's location on time
- Follow the intepretation industry standards and code of ethics
Our telephonic interpreters must:
- Be reliable, accurate and punctual
- Be customer service oriented
- Have prior experience in legal, business, social or medical
- Have a landline telephone
- Not to use cordless devices such as cordless phones, headsets, and cell phones
- Follow the intepretation industry standards and code of ethics
Applicants will also be tested for quality purposes. Contracted interpreters will be contacted for interpretation appointments or calls on an as needed basis.
Please let us know if you have any interpreter certification such as WA DSHS, NAJIT or you have taken interpreter classes like "Bridging the Gap" by CCHCP or other interpreter training courses. |
